Bridge Cottage is a self catering cottage, for 4 people, set on the banks of the River Torridge with half a mile of private river frontage through woods and meadow set over five and half acres. It's a paradise for fly fishermen and nature lovers alike, set in the heart of Devon.
Location
Bridge cottage is 5 minute walk from the village of Sheepwash and the Half Moon pub, between Bude, a 30min drive to the West and Dartmoor, a 15min drive to the East. For satnav directions click here.
The House
Downstairs: an entrance hall, sitting room, garden room and kitchen
Upstairs: the yellow room (a double), the blue room (which can be set up as a twin or a double) and two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath
The River and the Grounds
The house is surrounded by a small mature garden with a lawn and banked cottage garden with steps up to a small summer house with more views across the river. A short walk takes you to the private woods and wild meadow, with various places to stop and watch the world go by or even fish.

Bridge Cottage is available for weekly rents from Friday 4pm to Friday 10am, all year round
